Alistair Trung is one of Australia’s most celebrated fashion designers known for his archetypal poetic clothing. When his partner dies, Alistair feels compelled to leave the fashion world behind and shed his identity. The film follows as he begins closing his label and searching for the next chapter of his life. On his journey, Alistair grapples with the meaning of the word ‘grief’ and seeks to find his personal definition. As he grieves, Australia experiences some of the most severe bushfires in history, and Alistair is drawn to the ravaged landscape which mirrors his internal world. He responds to the devastation through creativity, collecting burnt mementos from the landscape to turn into an offering, an act for the invisible.
